S&W 915

Gentlemen,
A friend called me yesterday, informing me of an acquaintance attempting to sell his S&W model 915. This gun is apparently in excellent condition, has 2-15 round mags and 2-10 round mags. He is asking $350 for this item. I know the last year they were built was 1994.
I have been issued a 5903 and a 6906 while serving with Cleveland PD in the late 80's/early 90's, and had absolutely no issues with either weapon.
Does $350 sound reasonable for this piece?

Yes, IMHO that is a good price for a superb pistol.

My 915 has been 100% reliable with every thing I feed it, and is an accurate 9mm.

you know the history of the weapon. The 915 is

I will never sell my Model 915. It is a great all around semi-automatic pistol.

For $350, yes that's a good deal. My 915 shoots anything I feed it, has yet to malfunction, and is almost boringly accurate to shoot. Like mi amigo above said, my 915 is one I'll never sell.

That gun at that price is Christmas come early my friend.

The only thing I changed on my 915 was swapping the factory sights for night sights and added "skater tape" to the front strap of the grip.

Hands down, my favorite full size 9 mm.

Gentlemen,
Thanks to all of you for your responses c/w the S&W 915. My main concern here is that I would have to sell a S&W model 19 2-1/2" to fund the 915. These, too, are hard to come by. I already own the 19, and it's a tough one to part with.

Keep the 2.5" 19, and save up for the 915. Nice 915's while not plentiful, are easier, and less costly, to aquire than the 2.5 19. My 0.02. Regards 18DAI.
