S & W 99 .45

I have a S&W 99 in . 45 acp. I am not a big fan of it and have been thinking of selling it and getting a 1911. Any idea what I could expext to get for it? Maybe 300 rounds through it, original box and parts with it including 2 mags.

I do not like the single/double action trigger. I carry a glock at work and am more used to that. I just prefer the trigger pull being the same every shot.

For the same reason I do not care for my friend's Sig. It is a good gun, it is just not for me.

The 99 in .45acp is a bit rare. I see them once in a while here for around $400-$450 depending on how many mags come with

Hey 5-0, you can carry the 99 like a Glock.
After chambering a round don't decock it. You have a long, light take up then BOOM. From there it reverts to its single action trigger. Dale

I understand your feeling about the trigger. Since I have carried and competed with double/single autos so long, it's just something I got used to. I know it's not for everybody.
