A buddy dropped this off for me the other day, kinda neat ,
I think I will get it mounted or laminated for the office. Must have been left over from the first thoughts of transitioning from revolvers to semi autos. Anyway thought I would post a photo. Bob

By the square guard, it looks to be for a late 2nd gen 59 series.

Can you read the date on the drawing? I tried to blow it up but the resolution is too low.
Definitely a 59 series variant. The date may help with that.

On the bottom of the drawing it says " OBSOLETES DWG 10037 DATED 3-11-83. then at the top right in corner it has "NEW DWG 9-24-85",with a little stamp behind that, below additional lines with dates like when additions were added , initials and the same little like proof stamp. In bottom right is says "-PART- Automatic Finish Assy's- All Autos. Dated 9-24-85.

That date would make it a 2nd gen x59
