Several years ago I sold a 9mm EZ to a friend, who has shot 100 rounds or so with no problem. Today he asked me to look at it as it was not firing. I can not see anything wrong so I'm hoping someone can suggest what may be wrong with it. (He said he has tied several brands of ammo.)
It racks rounds from the mag fine, round in chamber indicator pops up, and safety is off but it will not fire. He said he has hand loaded a round in chamber and it doesn't fire.
I see there are several you-tube videos but none with this problem.
What can I look for to help him out?
Thanks

Only modification is a Crimson Trace Laser.

Are the primers marked at all? A pencil is a way to verify firing pin/striker performance without involving ammo. If it doesn't launch the pencil with the laser removed, best bet is back to S&W.

Oh, DON'T just drop a round in the chamber and then close the slide. The extractor isn't designed for that.
