A friend needed a couple boxes of 243 ammo. I provided it. He ask what I needed and I said some 170 grain 30-30 to use for base line range work. He brought me this. I’m gonna shoot it; but if there is a collector that needs to finish the inside straight of ammo collecting, let me know. It’s just ammo to me.

Now that's a keeper................nice looking package, for sure.

30-30 is a dime a dozen but that would be plumb handy for a display case or bucket list.

You da man.

You haven’t shopped for 30-30 lately, they are closer to $18/dozen…when you find them and then add shipping.

I remember those. They were popular in my circles because you didn't have to ask the hardware store clerk to break a box.

I collect anything 30/30 and have some of those. Would like to have those but shipping cost prohibit collecting. Though not rare they are unusual. I hate to see such ammo be shot up at targets when newer ammo is available. Value is about the same as new.

I think S&W were contracting Fiocci to make their ammo. I’ve got several boxes of handgun ammo. Me and buddy split a case of S&W 12g slugs when they were on clearance. We both had Rem 870 slug guns which shot fairly decent. The S&W slugs were sabots and didn’t shot for beans out of anything we tried them in. The rest of S&W line was decent ammo.
