What barrel lengths were offered in the Chief?

Depends on what you call a "Chief". The model 60 started out as a Chief's Special stainless in 1965, but in more recent years it has been offered with as much as 5" of barrel. IMHO the newer model 60's (with the longer, full-underlugged barrels and/or adjustable sights) are not the same gun as the earlier ones, and should have been issued their own new model number.
