S&W Circulars

In 1858, 1859, 1864 and 1874, S&W offered some advertising circulars for their Tip-up revolvers. Does anyone know if one or all of these have been reproduced, and if so are they available for sale somewhere? Thanks.

You could check with Cornell Publications, P O Box 214, Brighton, MI 48116.
Cornell Publications - World's Largest Old Gun Catalog & Manual Reprinter. They produce a large variety of copies of old catalogs, books, etc. gun related. They are actual copies of the original ones in most cases.

John, I am unamware of any replicas of the circulars you mention being available for sale tody. About 40 yrs ago, Roy jinks made some copies of the Model 1 circular, which were given to members of the S&WCA. I only know of a very small handful of originals of those circulars in collections and they are very fragile. I doubt the owners would want to risk them to the hazards of reproduction. Ed.

Ok, Part II

Looks like I can reproduce one for display with my No. 2 Army. Do either of you know the approximate size of the originals? I don't want it exact so it won't get confused with an original (plus it will be new/clean/crisp), but I would like to know if it should be closer to say 4"x6", 8"x10", or whatever.

These are not "owner's manuals". They are dealer's price lists/quantity discounts. Here's one I did but I think it might be a little small.
