My wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary (Nov 22, 2024) in New York City. While there, we went to the Metropolitan Art Museum (The Met) and I saw these pretty revolvers.
(Sorry for the reflective glare.)
S&W Revolver
Colt Revolvers
Smith & Wesson | Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 Second Issue Revolver (serial no. 30451) with Case | American | The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Samuel Colt | Colt Third Model Dragoon Percussion Revolver, serial no. 12406 | American, Hartford, Connecticut | The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Samuel Colt | Gold-inlaid Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver (serial no. 20133), with Case and Accessories | American, Hartford, Connecticut | The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Samuel Colt | Gold-inlaid Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver (serial no. 63306) | American, Hartford, Connecticut | The Metropolitan Museum of Art
In addition to going to The Met and seeing these revolvers, my wife and I had a wonderfully magical 50th Anniversary trip (20-25 Nov, 2024).
God bless,
