S&W Customer Service- My Turn

Today (could have been yesterday because I didn't check the mail yesterday) I received the promised extended base plate. That means from initial contact on 27 Jan (can't count the 26th because it's a Sunday), until today, it took 9 calendar days to get a free part. That's reasonable in my book.
 
Yesterday I called S&W fully expecting to purchase 2 sets of frame plugs to remove thumb safety's.

With credit card in hand, I dialed 1-800-GREAT SERVICE (S&W) and waited a mere 8-10 minutes on hold. Talked to Tom, told him what I wanted, he asked me the standard name, address, phone. After he gets that I pick up my CC ready to read it off and he says "be in the mail in a few days, no charge"!!!:eek:

3rd interaction, 3rd great results.
1st was a free mag after I sent in pistol to check which turned out to be a non issue, 2nd was for the 40c pinky extension, and now this!!
I never expected any of it for free.
