S&W Customer Service!!!!

I just wanted to let everybody know that in all my years of firearms and dealing with customer service depts. that S&W has the BEST customer service dept. hands down. They have shipped me free parts with no questions asked, given me advice, and in general have been the easiest to deal with. All firearms companies should take a lesson from S&W..... it would only help to create and keep loyalty to their brand. Enough said.

I have found it to be true MOST OF THE TIME!
It all depends on who you are dealing with, I guess.
I have been given parts an some good advise and I have been given WRONG information. And at least was just down right lied to!
 
I have been treated well by S&W with one exception. When the Walther P22 first came out the magazines would not feed correctly and reliably. New mags ha a slot cut into the upper part of the mag body. The cartridge rim would fall into the slot and stay in alignment, allowing proper feeding of the cartridges.

A S&W rep, Kay or Kate Fredette, refused to send me six replacement magazines. I had purchased three Walther P22 pistols from Vance's Shooters Supply in Ohio. The lady refused to believe me. I had to fax her a copy of my receipt for those guns before she would replace my magazines.

I have had fantastic service from Ruger in AZ as well when I sent them two different handguns.

Hands down, no equal anywhere, out of this world service as a walk-in customer at Glock, Inc.

Called on Friday to get frame plugs for thumb safety removal. They sent them free of charge with no questions. Great experience and no waiting on hold for hours! Great lady on phone was very helpful and even had a sense of humor!!!!!
