Hi

Are the rear sears on the frontier DA and the First Model DA interchangeable? Any info would be appreciated.

I think I would be safe in saying that all 1 9/16" cylinder length 44 Russians would have identical parts to the 44-40. I am not certain if there were any internal differences in the 44 Russian DAs with the shorter 1 7/16" cylinder.

They are the same part. Interchanging parts alway requires fitting to the recipient gun's action, however. Ed.
