S&W Desk Calendar/Pen Holder

In 1983 I was working in a local gun shop while saving my pennies to attend the Police Academy in 1984. I remember that we had one of these in the store and when I ran across one recently in good shape, original S&W packaging AND an unopened 1983 calendar......I couldn't pass it up.

These are way cool items, they came in several formats of cut barrels and cylinders for pen holders, with and without wood bases, etc. Nice piece of S&W accessory history. Ed.

Ya wanna cry? When they closed the Wood Room at Smith & Wesson, they had over 1000 sets all in their boxes. Offered to employees for ONE DOLLAR each! They were thrown out. No, that was one day I didn't get into the dumpster.
