Two completely different versions, 38 super and 45. One PC Shop, one not.

I don't own one, but a friend does. It is a tack driver, no problems, i.e, ftf,fte, finish, etc, all top notch. His is a .45 BTW.

I have a 45 model. It is just a S&W 1911 with some extras. If you like those features, and I do then buy it. If you don't like the straight trigger and other features, buy a different model that has the features you like. If you want a 38 super the PC gun is excellent, and S&W doesn't offer any other choices. But in it's price range, there are other choices from other manufacturers.
