.....got it at the old Sportsman Warehouse, whatever the new ones are called now....

had some kind of deal on small lights. Got this model on a whim, made by Cree. "Tactical S&W" so it says.

I'm just amazed. From Google I find it's "only" 85 lumens. About middle finger size and throws a bright white light clear down to the far end of my tree line. couple hundred feet. Cost was about $25!

I have various old style lights, and a couple of Pelican models I was real fond of. Till now.

I've been wanting the 1075 lumen Borealis on a Maglite 4D frame. Hard to imagine spending over $300 for a flashlight even if it is rechargeable.

I have four that match your description, and one larger, marked S&W. I like them a lot. I purchased the first two from Sportsman's. I can't remember where I got the other three. I don't think I paid more than $20 for any of them. Great little lights!

$300 is nothing for a high output light built on a M@g host.

This is a 7 Cree light I built. I have several hundred just in the parts, but it puts out a lot of light. ~1200 lumens *out the front*.

Smith & Wesson flashlight

I bought this little gem a couple of years ago at Wal-Mart and I thing I paid 30 something for it. It takes 3 AAA's, has 8 clear, 2 blue, and 2 red LED lights. it's not bright as some i suppose, but is great to see what the dogs have going around the yard at night. I love it plus it is a Smith.:D:D
peace
