Hi yall
When I first got this 32 I frame serial 911xx 2nd change ?
I noticed the trigger tip snapped of at the very bottom.
So I bought another trigger that said it was for 2nd and 3rd change.
I put it on.It would not clear the trigger guard when pulling it back.
So I guess I see why someone purposely broke of the trigger at the bottom tip. It was to make it work.
Any idea what it going on here ? what trigger would fit correctly?
Maybe someone had reason to replace the original trigger that cleared the trigger guard bottom and knew this one would fit other than have a tip that was tool long.
Thanks
:)

s&w I frame 32 trigger guard

I have pictures but cannot post them yet.

It does not look bent. If it is bent someone did a good job.

Having said that I looked online at pictures and it looks like someone flattened the trigger guard.

I looks same length front and back from the frame above.
The pictures I am seeing appear to have a longer trigger guard in the back than in the front.

I am not sure about that. :)

I will post pictures when I can.
I appreciate your help.

This is a newer, I think it’s 4th change. I suppose your trigger guard is flatter for some reason? Hope to see some pictures, but, I know: depending on your device, sometimes they just don’t like to play nice.

Ok here is a 32 HE from the same era. Look at the shape of the trigger guard. It is larger towards the rear where yours is flat. I think your trigger guard has been bent. They can be opened up. Someone here has given instructions how to do so.

Yes I see the flatness in the rear.
Someone got hit over the head.
That is why it is so smoothly done.
:)
I will look for the instructions.
Thank you
