Cheap .22 ammo can be used to get good with a DAO trigger & a light J frame, instead of $15 a box .38 ammo

I want one as I will use it to teach snubbie fundamentals and as a practice piece. You can shoot a few hundred rounds of .22 and then a box or two of .38s in a practice session.

I don't remember where I first saw or heard of the 43C, but since that day I've wanted one as an inexpensive training alternative to my 640 carry pistol. Let's hope they actually do ship in May.

A close friend got one and it had to go back. The side plate fit so bad dirt could get into the crack. S&W actually replaced the frame, and it shipped back with a different S/N to a dealer, not to him. The new one seems just fine have not heard if he has fired it yet.

The 43c is just a reworked 317 - isn't it?

Different finish, front sight and a Centennial configuration - but basically the same base revo . . .

The 43C saga continues

Here is the question I posed to S&W customer service on Wednesday, July 27, "Hey, is this gun going to be made, not made, run in tiny batches? Awesome gun, seems to be a no brainer. thx, Rob."

Here is what I got back from S&W customer service rep, Robert, on July 29 in response to my question:
Hello, current production is scheduled for late September and will continue through the year.
Thank You

What this means is anybody's guess...
