It's mechanically sound and I would sell it for $300Because of the poor condition it's not worth much, 4 bills to me is optimistic. Hopefully mechanically it's sound then at least you have a nice shooter.
I would sell for 3Prices around here are a bit higher but still the condition hurts it. Look in the cylinder hand area an I bet it is marked Model 15-2. It might fetch $550 - $600 if you are lucky and find an interested buyer.
I would sell for 3Model 15-2 .38 Combat Masterpiece from 1966. I agree with a price somewhere in the $500 range, depending on where you live. Lots of bluing loss. But it would make a fine shooter.
