Double-action 22 revolver built on the square-butt target J-frame. Frame is aluminum alloy with three screws and a counterbored, fluted alloy cylinder with steel inserts. Pinned barrel is often listed as 4 inches but is actually 3.5, front sight is 1/10" with micrometer-click rear. Grips are aftermarket but are very comfortable, with slight thumbrests on each side. This gun was made between 1957 and 1969 and has the old-style flat cylinder latch. This model was originally known as the 1955 .22/.32 Kit Gun Airweight, the name changed to Model 43 in 1957. No box or papers included. Finish is listed as blued but is what I consider black, and is in good shape, aside from some tiny dings on the cylinder as shown in photos. Smooth backstrap, grooved narrow trigger, DA trigger pull is heavy but smooth, SA trigger is pure S&W. Gun weight is listed at 14.25 ounces. Front sight wears Bilious Green nail polish for better visibility but a dab of acetone will easily remove it if desired.
Asking $550, I will pay shipping.
