S&W M&P 22 Upper Assembly Help

I find myself in need of re-assembling the upper on my S&W M&P 22 and haven't had any luck in finding a good online resource. Anyone point me to a tutorial or video (or book/manual) for disassembly/reassembly beyond field stripping?..... I'd greatly appreciate it. Kind Regards - David

Did you disassemble the gun yourself? Why would you go that far of a disassembly if you did. Sorry I can't help. You probably need to send out to S&W for repair.

I've been searching you tube but haven't found any yet. I like to know how to disassemble all my guns but I make sure I have the info before. I will post if I find anything, A word for the future. I use my digital camera and take pictures as I go along, it helps when you forget!!!!

I was in the process of removing/cleaning/reinstalling the two roll pins that work their way out during shooting. The roll pin in the upper unit keeps parts in place under spring tension. I typically wouldn't disassemble without instructions for reassembly but I got caught off guard. I do believe that I reassembled correctly but I'd love confirmation (obviously). If anyone has been through the process and cares to confirm what I did I can type a detailed explanation. Ultimately, I'd love complete assembly and disassembly instructions for this gun to allow me to do my own work. Kind Regards - David

if you got roll pins that are working out get some new ones...I've put over 12 bricks through my M&P .22 & have no roll pin issues... what other work needs to be done ? ...maybe a back sight but thats it ....take care

Same here. I always lay the parts out in the same order I take them out/off. It does help with the new camera's & phone cams to take different shots as you go. Been doing my own work for years.
