Hey All...LGS has a M29 "S" numbered...S2847xx...has been fired..but looks new...NO wear on extractor rod...a very FAINT cylinder line..no cartridge imprints on the recoil shield..
a FAINT SMALL rub mark on the left side of the hammer just behind the firing pin...diamond coke bottle target grips that appear a little dull...need some refreshing but they are quite beautiful....and of course....the STUNNING DEEP BLUE S&W FINISH....other than what i have said i cannot find ANY other "detractions" on this REALLY nice S&W....no box..just the revolver...
PRICE...1749.99 + 8.25% sals tax....YES...NO...??? Whats a fair price..???
Thanks to all for your help..

You don't say but I assume it is a -2? As described I would have made an offer, perhaps $1600 OTD, just to find out if they were negotiable. But it probably would have gone home with me as I don't see those often. Good luck.

Pete, are you sure that the grips are "Cokes"? That can make a huge difference in value! Also, sometimes LGS don't put out all the accessories on used guns because of a lack of space. Make sure they don't have the presentation case in the back room.

A 95% mid-Sixties 29-2 with actual Cokes? Great price. Still a decent deal with target grips. What's the barrel length?

YES...they are C O K E S...it is a M29-2 6 1/2" bbl...i forgot to ask re the presentation case...will go back tomorrow to see if i can work a deal...if it is still there...
Thanks To all for your help...

Bid $1,600. You want to buy, but the other guy wants to sell. Not everyone has $1,700 as we race toward recession.

$1,749 + TT&L? I’d have brung it home with me already.
