:pI tried to post more but only one took. The rest of the pictures read error. I have had this gun a long time. I bought it when the Joke was You want a Smith and Wesson when? I took months for a Smith to come into a shop.

1965 to 1987 if my memory serves me.
Yes. Those dates are correct. And during the last three of those years, Bangor Punta itself was owned by Lear Siegler. That was the period when they started serious belt-tightening and got rid of things like holsters and ammo (I think).

Thanks gents. I have a couple of shoulder holsters that they made during that period I would guess. Are they of any value to collectors?

I carried a 2" K frame in a S&W shoulder holster for close to 20 years. I can't speak to the collector interest or value, but I can speak to comfort and durability. That holster is as good today as it was on the day it was purchased. Only sweat stains on the straps indicate it was even used. And, of course, the fact that it has molded itself to the shape of my torso and not that of anyone else . . . :D

Nice 19-4. I had one just like it for the first handgun I ever bought. Looked all over for it and finally found a small dealer who had one. I'm pretty sure I paid $263.00 for it NIB.

Of course, being young and even dumber than I am now, I traded the gun off for something else, then threw the box away. :o
