Sorry to add nothing of value to the conversation, but that is so cool. I'm pretty well used to seeing police department logos on guns, but this is awesome. How the heck did you stumble upon this thing?
Michael: I got it years ago from someone saw it as just another model 10. I knew this was special. I want to sell it now, so trying to find someone who will appreciate its uniqueness! That seal and the people behind it were overthrown 44 years ago. We have had nothing but grief with the new regime in Iran ever since!
How about one of those auction thingies...I don't participate on them myself, but I look there to check prices on completed sales, and people can pay some really stupid money if they want something badly enough...

A nice model 10-5 will probably bring $550 or so. Someone looking to fill a gap in their collection may pay quite a bit more due to the special stamping, but you probably won't find a lot of recent sales to help with a value.

Nice model 10's seem to sell between $500 and $800. To the right person, I think this would sell at the upper end of that range. Finding that person is your challenge. A well publicized auction might do just that.

$800 for me too.
I don't remember the details but a few yrs ago there was one on GB. Not nearly the condition that one is in. It had a high buy it now price and didn't seem to generate much interest. $400 comes to mind. But again, it was Gun only and not as nice.
