S&W model 10-6 in 357 magnum

Congrats KOWBOY !! :) Great revolver. Hang onto it. I think these are underated at present but may be much sought after in the not too distant future.

In the meantime shoot it and enjoy it!! :) Regards 18DAI

Cool M10. I'd leave the finish. Think of all the holster time it had to have to get that worn. It's earned those battle scars.

That is a great find, but too ugly for me. I would put it on the NBO to Springfield for a refinish. Properly cared for and maintained, that 10-6 will out live all of us that have responded to your post. I have a 57 that will go back to be nickeled in a few weeks if the buyer does not get on the stick and pick it up.

Good find. Good price. But get it refinished- that sure does not look like holster wear. Something else got to that finish.

Well I'll be... the equivalent of a 4" barreled Model 13. Who would have thought? I would send it off to Robar for an Electroless Nickel finish. This not only will make it look good, but will also "slick up" the action too!

It's up to you.

Scott

I agree with NHccop. That finish looks chemically altered. Something got on the gun, maybe someone tried to shine the gun up one day or clean it with something that they weren't supposed to. Get it refinished, for sure.
