Picked this up at a show a few weeks ago.
1980-81 vintage model 10-8 with 3 inch barrel
in nickel.

Going through my books this one is a first.
Giving it some thought(dangerous)...
I find this a somewhat uncommon variation.

Your opinion ?
Nickel is a hoot to photograph.
I had the stags.
Gun was wearing a Crimson Lazer sight which I plan to sell.

I had a 4" M-10 Pencil barrel in new condition with original grips and gorgeous nickleI that I sold for $400 about 8 years ago. Beautiful gun I wish I had back but I love the 3" barrels even more.

Very nice! I have one of its first cousins, a 3", nickel M13-3.

Very sharp looking S&W's in this configuration and not very common.

I have a 3” nickel 10-? RB and a blue 3” 10-? RB. I sold what I believe was an Aussie police 3” 10-? SB.

I also have nickel and blue 3” RB M13s.

IMO, the 3” K frame of any description is about perfect.

Your 3" M10 is more rare than most variants for sure. And..... it's in great shape!! Nice grips too.

My very first EDC was a 2" M10 RB in Nickel. At the time they did not make them in stainless. I had to get that particular gun replaced by S&W as it would frequently just lock up and after 3 attempts at fixing it they could not. They replaced the gun for me with a brand new one - but in blue. I wound up selling that a year later so I could buy a M60 which for my purposes was a whole lot more convenient to carry every day. I do regret selling it.
