S&W Model 15 2"

Five years ago I paid $500.00 for a NIB nickel version from an estate sale here in my neighborhood. Around 2014 I paid $300.00 for a factory re-blue with no box. I haven’t seen any for sale since, but would think prices would start at $500.00 for a used one.

Your first big challenge is finding one! I haven't seen any snubby Model 15s for sale in years. My wife inherited this one from her grandfather- he was an LEO in the Republik of Kalifornia in the 50s thru 70s. It's a mint 15-2 from 1962, and an excellent shooter...my wife qualified for her CCW with this revolver. Although this 15-2 is a family heirloom and NFS, I would expect a similar revolver, similar condition, to sell for upwards of $700. There just don't seem to be many out there, and vintage snubby revolvers are pretty popular right now. Good luck with your hunt!

I bought a 15-4 for $500 last year. It's the first and only 2" 15 that I've ever seen in NC. The finish wasn't in the best shape, but it locks up and shoots much nicer than I would have ever thought possible. If you can get your hands on one, I think they are great additions to any revolver enthusiast's collection.

I have two, but they are the only two I’ve seen in the wild. Happened to pick these up 3 months apart in 2018; both were under $600. I had one black nitrided for CCW. I wouldn’t sell either for less than a grand.

I gave 600 I believe for this one with the box( pretty sure ). If it has been fired, it is only a few rounds. Tough to tell. The grips are Culina Osage orange.

It would take 1K and begging to get this away from me. It is a 70's 15-3

The book match on those grips is really something else. Very nice. 😎

In GA, I paid 450 for a nice 15-7 2 years ago - I suspect it would bring 550-600 today?

I bought a very nice nickel 15-3 two inch for $650 about 3 years ago. A handful of months before or after I acquired the nickel one, I paid $600 for an equally nice 2" blued 15-3. I really don't think I'd take less than $775 for either right now, although neither are for sale and probably never will be.
