Okay I will try this again. Took a half hour to single finger type and lost post, so another try. Anyhow I'm a newbie here on the S&W forum. Actually was on for first time two months ago and messed up. SWCA member for 30 years. Hope I don't this time, even though I just did an hour ago. Well NY Gov Coumos gun bill that he signed last week still has much confusion to it, but it made me look thru my collection I have not done in 25 years or so. I was sifting thru boxes to see what things, objects I had to get rid of so I would not be in violation of the new law. l came across a package labeled "S&W Model 41 .22 Short Conversion kit" which I had bought back in the 70's for what reason I don't know and it has the following items:
1. Rod with coil spring over it.
2. Lever, possibly slide stop/ejector bar.
3. (2) .22 calibre magazines stamped with a "5" on the sides (which appear new unused)
My question is two parts. What if any parts may I be missing to complete this kit. I realize that there must have been maybe a differant barrel and or slide which I am almost positive I don't have. I would like to know of this kits value the way it is so I can consider a price to list it, as I do not own a model 41 nor am I considering buying one in the future. Thanks for any help. Tom
