You might try some hotter ammunition. CCI has changed the formulation of their powder and it may not be strong enough to cycle the slide all the way back to eject and pick up a new round.

Another thought that came to mind is the possibility that the feed lips on your clip might be worn to the extent of not holding the .22 long enough for the slide to push it into the chamber. Try another clip and mabye that will help. The 41 is a great gun.

I am shooting a new batch of CCI-SV and I see no difference as far as function.
If the recoil spring has a lot of cycles on it you may want to change it. Change the firing pin spring at the same time.
I have one very old magazine which seems to be slightly more prone to this problem than the rest. It is worth comparing results with different magazines to see if there is a magazine problem. I have checked this old mag very closely and cannot see why it should have a problem.
One thing further to try, wipe the top round in each loaded mag with a lightly oiled patch, often this will improve the feed and extraction. Some batches of ammunition seem harder to feed and extract, although I have never been able to measure enough difference to account for a problem.
