I have a model 439 with wood grips. Wonder what the value range of it would be? looking to trade with dealer for new gun or sell it outright. I've had it over 20 yrs and maybe 200 rounds thru it, 2nd owner, bought it from a friends dad. 1 mag i think 7+1 gun capacity 9mm.

Thanks!

I think the photos should work if you click on the icon. Put them in my dropbox.

Some pics of your 439 would really help. Do you have the box and extra clip? $400 to $500 would be my guess. Best of luck and hope it works out.

unless you really need to sell it....a gun you have had for twenty years ....you will probably have sellers remorse afterward...nice screen name:p

I just have 1 magazine and no original box/papers. I'll post a couple pics tomorrow. Thanks.

Thanks nocents, not too attached to it, just ready for something new.

FWIW, I just bought a 98% 439 from my local pawn shop for $350 out the door. No box, papers, etc., 2 mags. I thought it was a good price, which is why I bought it.

One sold on GB 2 weeks ago. Box and accessories. $502
You should be able to get $350-$400
The grips are nice but not original. I would keep it if it were me.
I have several nice shooting guns that I won't sell because I can't get enough to really make it worth losing it.

One at my LGS right now with no box and one mag in great shape. Asking $525.00. I have a 439 that I got from my uncle in 83 that I wouldn't take thousand dollars for. The gun has thousands of flawless rounds threw it while being scary accurate. Best of luck and hope it all works out for you.
