New to this Forum and have a question about a used revolver I just purchased. As the title says, it is a Model 48-7 Classic 22 WMR. I am hoping that someone on the forum will be able to tell me when this revolver as manufactured.
The serial number is CSP23xx.
Any information you can provide will greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you can give me.

-7 models began in 2010. Offered in two bbl lengths, 4" & 6".

Model 48s were discontinued in 1986. There were no -5 or -6 models made.

Someone smarter than me can look up the S/N for mfg date. Not better looking than me, but smarter............... ;)

A year or two ago I bought a 648 as I didn't have a .22WMR revolver. I went with the 6" bbl so I could wring out the best velocity & accuracy the ammo could offer.

I would love a blued model, but would prefer a no-lock model which is -4 & earlier.

A set of rosewood grips in it would really make it pop, IMO.
