Pretty please bring back the .22 Jet revolver with the inserts so that .22 rimfire rounds can be fired too. This is a superb little K-Frame revolver with ejection rod housing that would sell very nicely. Offer it with 5", 6", and 7" barrels, I'll buy one of each!

i remember the model 53, that was a classic.
although the old ones are highly desired by collectors i wonder if there really would be a market for them now if they were re-introduced.
 
The Jet was an intriguing idea that didn't work very well....typically major extraction problems, and the .22 inserts were inconvenient to say the least. I'd love to have a HV .22 centerfire revolver if the hard extraction could be overcome, and with a separate .22lr cylinder. Remember that Ruger single-action single shot in .256 that came out about the same time as the Jet? I'd love to see Smith do something like that....would make a great varmint handgun.
