Sgt Preston here. Yep I bought a brand new 539 "safe queen" about 2 1/2 years ago. It's my only 9mm. I've had a trigger job done on it & mounted a red-dot scope on top of it. I reload my own ammo for it. It's an excellent gun. It fires perfectly every time, never fails to feed or eject. It is "reasonably" accurate. That equates to a consistent 2.5" - 3" circle at 15 yards in my hands. I also added some fancy rosewood grips to it & had a holster custom made for it. All in all it's a great gun & gets lots of 2nd looks at the gun range. I shoot it every week. I also have a PC 945. The 539 is NOT in the same league as a PC 952 or PC 945, it is a close 2nd cousin. Hope this helps. Sgt Preston USMC LLA
