I've always thought this revolver is perfect for my hands. This particular piece started life as a Tennessee Department of Corrections issue firearm for a prison guard. The revolver was refurbished and bead-blasted before it was sold as surplus. Since the gun is not in original condition, it was relatively inexpensive when I purchased it in 2011; just over $300. Since there is no collector value, I have used it as a range bag revolver and sometimes put it in a Hornady Rapid Safe on my nightstand. I have shot thousands of .38 Spl in this gun including +P loadings (the Federal rounds pictured). I have only fired a dozen or so full power .357 Magnums in it, quickly deciding that the magnums just yield too much muzzle blast and recoil. A steady diet of .357 is probably not good for a K-frame revolver. It's a great firearm which I will never sell. Thanks for looking.
