I just ran across a S&W Model 67-1 with 4" barrel and Target Grips. It is probably 98% cond. with a slight turn line on the cylinder. It has original box, ect. I would appreciate any thoughts on value.

I'd say $400 - $600 depending on location and how much you want it. Any K-frame in high condition is worth considering. Does it have a pinned barrel? The 67-1 was made from 1977 to 1988 and the barrel pin was dropped in 1982.

I paid $625 for a 67 no-dash that had no box. I know I paid too much, but the gun was in great shape (and the seller would not move). It turned out to be a super accurate gun with a great double-action trigger. I put a nice set of Hogue wood grips (cocobola) on it (the original magnas just did not work for me).

All that is to say that people like me drive up pricing sometimes by just plain paying too much. Oh well. I'm happy.

Last year I paid $350 for this no-dash Model 67, no box, but looks almost unfired. It was a first year version, has stainless rear sight, numbered magna stocks, but no box. Shoots great!

It's all about luck. I got a 67-1 that is in excellent shape, no box or anything, for a Buy it Now price of $200 off Gunbroker last month. Gun was listed for less than 20 minutes.

I know I got a great deal, but original box in that condition is worth $500.

I paid $425 for one about a year ago with the wood target stocks. It has some handling marks, I'd say it's about 90%. I thought that to be a good deal.

Sounds like the gun is worth the price. Enjoy.

With brand new ones going for $600 or so any older one in really nice shape for $4-500 is an ok price.

You stole that gun!!! Congrats it is certainly skews the value tables. I have never seen one under $400. I have owned a 1st year with SS sights I got for $425 and sold for $650 a year later. (Added a period correct box with paper work and the guy just really wanted it.)
$400 is really the lowest (Most) people would ever sell them for. I think $650-$750 would be high end having unblemished box, all paper work, tools..SW vapor paper.
I take back the $400...if it doesn't have a pinned barrel and is beat up, I can see them going for $300-$350.

I paid $375, & ship etc. for my no dash 67, a couple of years ago. Came with magna grips, no box etc. Nice gun to own. As you well know, prices keep creeping up! Bob

You can still get a beat looking but hardly fired 15 for $300, I just did.....I prefer stainless too but I'm not passing up a $300 15-7 that's completely tight mechanically:)
