S & W Model "B" help

I have a S & W Model "B". The roll stamp on the top of the barrel is "SMITH AND WESSON .308" and on the left side is "MODEL B"
and "NITRO" with a proof stamp. The trigger on this thing is horrible and I can't find any adjustment for it. My inter-research wants to think this is not a 1500 and not similar to the Howa or Weatherby. I looked at the Timney trigger for the Howa and I don't think it will fit.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks!

I don't know about the triggers. Model A through E bolt action rifles were made by Husqvarna, Sweden.

The Husqvarna made S&W's were superb rifles, smoothest bolt action around. If the trigger is bad there is something BAD wrong!

Soooo. I found this guy- huberconcepts.com and gave him a call. The Husqvarna trigger fits the S&W "B". He was real friendly and helpful on the phone, he took my credit card number and shipped the trigger the next day. I got it in and I was impressed. the trigger is fully adjustable for creep, weight and overtravel and is a drop in fit! YAY!
