I have 3 of the S&W Model M13 USAF marked revolvers (with alloy cylinders) that need repair and assembly. Mainly the side plates need fitting on 2 of them....as well as all the internal parts on all 3. I have all the required spare parts. That are out of the M12 alloy frame models, of the same vintage. One of the cylinder cranes need fitting to the frame. Does anyone know if the factory would take on such a project? I really would like to save these....as they are quite scarce as U.S. martial arms. Or is there a gunsmith that is qualified to attempt this challenge? I would appreciate any suggestions.
Have a blessed day

I very much doubt that Smith & Wesson would have either the inclination or the ability to restore those. I don't think they even offer rebluing anymore, much less reanodizing. I suppose you could ask Turnbull Restoration. Good luck. That looks like a very expensive project.

Lots of police departments had their own armorers for their service revolvers. There is a retired Deputy by me who works on Smiths as a side job. Ask around your community. I'm sure there has to be one

My second suggestion is to contact Nelson Ford or Cylinder and Slide
