I just purchased a pre-lock Smith and Wesson Model 360SC AirLite with a 1 7/8" Barrel in .38 spl +P Jacketed. The product code listed on the label is 149351. The Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson 4th Edition does not list the product code, nor does it mention a pre-lock Model 360SC with the 1 7/8" Barrel in .38 spl +P Jacketed. The serial number is CEU6017 and dates the revolver to 2001. Also, the label lists the barrel as 2" and lists "Special" under Features. The jewel case is marked AirLite Ti with the blue lining, and the pink "Additional Manual Information Inside" foldout is also for an AirLite Ti. It has a pinned blackened front sight and a blackened trigger and hammer. Also, the label is affixed to a photocopy of the certification required by the office of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Someone wrote on the Safety Manual "Purchased 2007 at Van's Guns", which is where I recently purchased it. The Standard Catalog only lists the pre-lock 360SC as a "prototype" with a different product code. Anyone come across this before? Thanks
