Anyone have an opinion on this revolver? Its man date is 89. Blued PC, and is ported with Speigle boot grips. Condition is very good. Is this a reliable gun for full house magnum loads? (not that I would be shooting them), but would like to know anyway. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi, can you post a pic of the gun. I am not familiar with a K port. I know the PC made the 66 F comp and the super K.. The F comp had a port in front of the front sight. The super K had magna ports on either side of the front sight.

my guess is the K-Comp, the companion to the F-Comp, just made in blue.
Great gun, I'd feel confident owning one (heck, I do!

) and shooting full house loads, staying with bullets heavier than 125 grain, obviously.

Thanks alot guys.
It looks just like the one from Smithnut. Ported in front of the front sight.
PS: Smithnut, NICE PIECE!!!

Fleshwound,
The manual you have isn't right for the gun, these were made in 1994 and 1997 timeframes, fyi.

I have a newer PC 66-6 carry comp and absolutely love it. It shoots extremely well and I do not hesitate to feed her with a 158gr 357 mag loads. Shoots all the day long no problem.

Thanks Smithnut. I dont have the gun yet, the current owner told me it was a 89, but the PC didnt start until 90 anyway right? If that is your F Comp, that is the nicest handgun (imho), I have ever seen! And I'm 55!
Again, thanks to all for your help.

Lou

Fleshwound,

The blued gun above is my Model 19 - K-Comp, it is one of the Lew Horton guns made in the second run. The first run, in 1994, was made for the Stocking Dealer Program.

My F-Comps (Mod 66) is shown below.
