S&W rebate update / new info 6/12/17

For what it's worth ....called the company (Milano) who is managing the S&W rebate program ...called because my electronic filing of 5/4/17 for my MP9 Shield was not showing up on their web site ...the person I spoke to said to check back in a week as they were processing 5/2/17 as we were speaking ...

My filing has appeared as a valid rebate... here is the timeline:
5/4/17 filed electronically
5/7/17 Milano showed as filing date? (hand entry?)
6/12/17 Valid rebate appeared on Milano site

Mine shows it was 4/14 but doesn't show what I purchased and shows $0 for rebate. I called them and they said all three are in the system.

S&W rebate update

I'm very happy with my gun, got it for an awesome price that really don't care for the rebate. I was going to buy one regardless. In fact I haven't filled for the rebate yet, and got it two months ago.

Ugg please all that have purchased keep us advised. I am not in a postion to buy right now.In my working days spent many a days answering calls for folks and in person being in managment. About rebates and promotions. I hated it. Some of the large companies engage in down right fraud. Not saying this about Smith yet .Lets hope they step it up.

That will get you 300-400 rounds of ammo depending on caliber of your shield. Why throw it away?

My purchase was in April and the site indicates no record. Odd thing is that I applied once with no result and applied a second time later which was acknowledged. I suppose that they are overwhelmed with applications and are having difficulty keeping up. I will call to see what they have to say. Even if they fail to deliver on the rebate, I got a good gun at a good price.

I entered my rebate on the 4th or 5th of April. It took them 10 days or so to post it at 4/14. Mine shows the correct rebate amount. Just waiting to show shipped. I'm right in the 8-10 week window now. Next Friday will be week 10. We'll see.

I have not been able to sleep since I submitted my rebate. I have not enjoyed my new pistol FOR ONE MINUTE since I submitted the rebate. I just don't know if I will get the money. Am I in the system?

Then maybe you should have paid full price, and refused the rebate. So you could enjoy your purchase more..

I submitted my rebate on 5/4 as well. No info on the Milano site yet (just checked today). Like an idiot I resubmitted my info via the website the other day before finding these threads and registering on this forum....(hopefully my duplicate submission doesn't cause an issue). I called Milano and they were not able to tell me much about the submission other than to check the site next week.

If the website doesn't show anything for you, make sure you ONLY put in your name and zip code. When I put in the dealer name it goes blank.

Must not be sending checks chronologically because I bought mine on 4/1, day one of the rebate, and the Milano site has me logged in on 4/7.

Still nothing, yet.

Still waiting on my rebate submitted 4/23. Also waiting on Winchester/Olin and Champion targets. When SIG had a rebate a few years ago, I received my free magazines in about 2 weeks IIRC.

I submitted mine on 5/8. Nothing shows on Milano site yet. Tried to call the company and all I get is a voice mail box to leave a message. I think S&W needs to find another company to handle their rebates. Love the Shield 40 but have nothing good to say about the rebate program.
