I know the "bullseye plugs" come in several sizes. Are actual keys to S&W internal locks of one size whether for N/L/K/J framed revolvers?

I have always been under the impression that the locks all used the same key no matter which model gun. My 638 key will work in my 625.

That's what I thought also.

But I don't have that many IL guns. The three or four I have all have the same key.

Never paid much attention as I've never used the IL.

I did put one of those keys on my key ring in case one of my guns locks up at the range. Haven't used it yet.

Funny you mention that as I do keep a handcuff and S&W lock key on my car fob and I finally got to try it out on a customer what kept his gun locked and came into our range and could not find his key. I saved the day for him.
That said, I have over five years as an RSO and have seen hundreds of thousands of rounds fired from S&W's with the IL. Never a failure of any kind. Do I like the darn thing? No. Does it prevent me from buying a gun with one? No.
