Just picked up a, rare for Massachusetts, 3913NL.

Absolutely love this gun!

New wood on old(er) pistol

Hogue Pao Ferro grip panels for the model 59.
Sorta makes it look like a completely different pistol.
I posted the other images somewhere else......If I am clever, I can move 'em over here for comparison.

I gave this to my grandson as a carry piece to replace the Makarov he'd been carrying.

4506 recent acquisition

Back in the late 80s or early 90s I bought a new 4506. In 98 I traded it off. I had been hungering lately to get another so this is what I wound up with. From all I can gather from research on this forum it's a late model example. No original box, but it's practically flawless, it may never have been fired. I intend to contact S&W for a production date. BTW, my first post on this forum! On edit: I called customer service and it's born on date is 11/23/99.

Here is my early 1980s Model 469. Totally unremarkable, carried lots, shot little, and 100% reliable with any bullet type I have used (not "run") in it, including cast lead.

The original factory 12 round blued magazine is in place for the picture, but I also have a spare factory 12 round SS magazine not shown in the picture.
