S&W Shield?

What is so special about this gun that people are willing to wait for long periods to own one? I just can't see anything particularly desirable about it.

Thin, easy to conceal, 8+1 and a great out of the box trigger. Plus cost, at least pre-scare. It's the perfect carry gun for me personally.

Conceal-ability, accuracy, trigger, ergos. Been through all the others too and it turned out the best for me. 9mm is a ***** cat.

Ditto. The only gun that shoots nicer is my old Model 39, but the Shield carries much better.

Have had mine since the first day it was introduced. Won't sell it .. ever ..

What's not to like?
