Hmmmm...good point on the Ruger 1911. But Ruger casts everything...I wonder if that makes it cheaper to manufacture something they hadn't previously made before? In any case, I'd bet the 1911 appeals to a much bigger market than the single action revolver does...aside from SA revolvers designed for hunting (adj. sights, cut for scope rings, etc.) the Cowboy Action shooters seem to make up the bulk of single action buyers.
