I never owned a Super Skeet in either gauge, but I had friends who did and I shot theirs. They were well made guns, and looked and handled very nice. They also broke targets very well. The only problem that they ha was that the gas system wouldn't fire 100 times without beginning to jam from carbon build up on the magazine tube. A competitive shooter doesn't like to have to pull the barrel and clean the magazine tube partway through the match. At the time, I was shooting a Winchester Super X Model 1, and once shot it 600 rounds without cleaning. It would have gone longer, but it got rained on during a shoot and I had to tear it down to clean and dry it out.
