I am trying to find a replacement part for my , S & W, Top Break Double Action Fourth Model (mfg 1894), .32cal revolver. The hammer Assembly .

I have found a 38cal Double Action hammer assembly on ebay are they interchangeable ?

I don't quite understand your 2nd picture of an Iver Johnson. (At least it has IJ grips...)

I have two 4th model .32 DA's and one has a good hammer..one does not (single action sear too worn and won't hold) However, the "good" hammer will not fit into the one with the bad hammer...so even the same caliber etc the hammer may not interchange. Serial numbers are 48134 and 37736 so you would think they would be close enough..but they are not.
