S&W Va State Police Buckle

Some of you know about the different LEO commemorative handguns but the other S&W police memorabilia is more scarce. These buckles were available serialized to match the VSP 50 year commemorative model 66 (1932 - 1982), did not come with the gun but as a separate purchase.

These Virginia State Police buckles are uncommon but occasionally show up on Bay. The original production run was set for 2,000 buckles, however they did not sell well ad only 1505 were made. They came with a Model 66 revolver and a knife made by Parker Bros. marked "1 of 2000", as a set to commorate the 50th Anniv. of the Virginia State Police. 1932-1987. Ed.
