S&W Victory Information

Just purchased a S&W Victory with 5" barrel all matching serial numbers and British or Australian proof marks on side. Need to get a lanyard as it is missing. Any information on this Victory model?

Last I checked, Numrich had swivels in stock. You can put any sort of lanyard you want on it, once you have the swivel in place.

It went through Factory Thorough Repair in 1954 in Australia.

Their swivels are reproductions. Ask on here someone will sell you a real swivel for your gun.

Yep. Here is my pre-V Aussy that was FTR in 1953, imported by Vega

The Aussies normally did a Parkerized finish during the FTR.The original factory S&W military finish was a hot oxide blue.

There are original ones available on Ebay parkerized that come with original pin for around $40.

Thanks for clearing up the markings as being Australian and not British for me. I looked on Ebay and found the lanyard ring and pin, appreciate for the tip. Got it ordered ASAP. Glad I found this site.
