Any of y'all have or familiar with this. Has JP internals. Used JP Enterprises AR for years in 3gun. Wondering thoughts on the S&W AR with Viking Tactics logo. Thanks

If you feel the over priced V-tac add on rifle fills a need for you but away .

I find nothing about the viking tac add-on's or the trigger group to the mp15 carbine worth while spending the extra money for. But then I have never owned any factory assemble AR . I assemble my ar15's using select quality parts I want to use and save some money for a sub moa shooter . I have no interest in V-tac being anything special or better than many other part suppliers and that is what v-tac is. JP tac parts were personal add-on for Kyle Lamb , geissele super v Ttigger was the supplied trigger in the carbine , the jp or geissele matters little to me . I'm a hyperfire 2lb sa trigger trigger guy.

There were two M&P VTAC rifles over the years, both now long discontinued.
The first was SKU 811012 which featured a round JP handguard, flashlight holder, Surefire flash hider, JP trigger, VLTOR stock and perhaps some other accessories.
The second was SKU 811025 the VTAC II which used a VTAC branded handguard that may have been based on the Troy Alpha series. It had a Geissele Super-V trigger, VTAC Sling, VLTOR Imod stock.

If the one you are looking at has the JP trigger, it would be the first SKU. It was a cool rifle 15 years ago. There are lots of other AR parts and accessories introduced since and the AR market has evolved a lot in that time too.
