Ole Joe Clark
Absent Comrade
Good Morning,
It's a beautiful, quite, somewhat melancholy Sabbath day here. Hearts are still heavy because of all the tornado deaths and destruction on Friday night and Saturday morning. We had no storm damage in our location, but lots of people are hurting from it.
Please continue to pray for all the folks that were injured, homes damaged or destroyed. Some lost everything. It reminds me constantly how fragile life is, and that none of us have the promise of another heartbeat, much less another day.
If you are a storm victim/survivor, don't give up, just keep holding on. Put your arms around a loved one and share a hug and a prayer, it will make you feel better. There's an old gospel song that talks about "one day at a time", but in this case, it's ok to do "one hour at a time." Just don't give up. We will get through this together.
Remember that people are under tremendous stress, so choose your words and actions wisely. God bless you all.
Enough!
Have a blessed day in spite of storms!!
Leon
