Sabbath Day Ramblings January 9, 2022

Good Sabbath Day ya'll, from smack in the Heart of Dixie.

Got some good news or bad news this morning, depending on your point of view. :-)

This will be my last regular "Ramblings" post for a while. My lovely wife is having skin cancer surgery soon, and I am so distracted/busy/can't think straight, that I have decided to bow out until I feel like doing this again.

If you pray, I'm asking you to remember my MBH in prayer. Her name is Judy, and she is the best thing that has ever happened to me in this life, except Jesus. I will post, on occasion, how she is doing, and I expect, and am praying for a quick and complete recovery.

Have a blessed Sabbath,

Leon

Leon; I will miss your weekly post. It's been an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to many others as well.

Having fought cancer, and the surgery, and treatments involved, for many years, I fully understand your situation.

You, Judy, and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Remember, there's a reason for everything, and God's wishes will be done.

My wife had a cancer cut out a year or so ago. Really is no big deal-they found sometihn gon her yearly check up-sent her to a specialist who cut it out until there was no cancer left and she was good to go. It was on her wrist and she has a pretty good scar for a while-I kept telling people that she tried to slash her wrists :D
Good luck to your bride and you. After it is over take her out and get her food-women like that!

Cajunlawyer; Normally I respect, and honor your sage advice, but I can't on this matter. No disrespect, or anything hateful, is intended.
You gave account, of your wife's cancer treatment, but failed to mention if you've had the same surgery. If not, I pray that you never need it. Having gone through cancer surgery, the x-ray treatments, and plastic-surgery involved, a couple of times, II feel qualified to comment. With all due respect, I consider that you've depicted the seriousness of cancer surgery, and the treatment, of it, with too little seriousness.

My prayers have been sent for Judy, you, and all medical personnel involved, and for successful surgery, healing and hope, and for a positive path forward.
