Ole Joe Clark
Absent Comrade
Good Sabbath Morning!
It's a cool, damp morning in the Heart of Dixie today. I'm looking for some sunshine, it's been damp and cool all week. Since I've got older, (some would say old), I remember when I was young and just married, that I would laugh at the MBH because she was cold. But now, lookout! old saying!: "the shoe is on the other foot" and I am the one that is cold all the time. The temperature outside is in transition from Summer to Winter and the AC/heating unit does not cycle enough to keep the air dry. I looked like the Rag Man yesterday, with all the extra shirts and ragged pants that I had on. The MBH was out of town with the Girls and I could look ragged if I wanted to.
Well, I hope all the football fans survived another Saturday, and baseball season is winding down. I listened to the Auburn football came and they managed an ugly win, but it counts just as much as a blowout. For some reason I have lost interest in sports and such. I had rather play or listen to some good music, and sometimes when I get out a guitar I loose track of time and things that don't matter. I qualify under Psalms 33:3, "Sing unto Him a new song, play skillfully with a loud NOISE." The caps are mine.
There are many beautiful pieces of music in my old Martin guitars, I'm still looking for most of them.
Today is also the day some folks celebrate Halloween in various ways, I chose not to celebrate in any way that does not bring honor to Him.
Enough!!
Be safe today, watch for the little kids when they are out and about this evening. They are precious, and tell them you love them.
Have a blessed day,
Leon
